When Grandma does the drop-off
In a lot of families, the person walking a child through our door in the morning isn’t Mom or Dad. It’s a grandmother, an aunt, an older cousin, or a neighbor who has helped since the start. We think that’s wonderful. Those people are part of your child’s world, and we want them to feel at home here too.
Here’s how it works. When your child is enrolled, you give us the names of everyone allowed to pick them up, and that list can include the relatives and friends who help you. Let your helpers know ahead of time so the first pick-up goes smoothly. If plans change on a given day, call us.
If your helper will be doing most of the drop-offs, bring them along on your tour. It’s easier for a child to settle in when the grown-up holding their hand already knows the place.
Grandparents and other helpers often have questions of their own, like which door to use or who to ask for at the front. They’re welcome to call us too. Have them save our number, (844) 708-6824, in their phone, and keep the address somewhere easy to find, like on the fridge.
