1. Who we are

A Touch of Blessings Learning Academy (“A Touch of Blessings,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates licensed childcare and early learning centers in North Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, together with A Mother’s Touch Inc. This policy applies to atouchofblessing.com, our enrollment and family contact forms, and our text messaging program.

2. Information we collect

We only collect what we need to respond to you and care for your child.

Information you give us directly. Parent or guardian name, phone number, email address, your child’s name and age, preferred location, desired start date, payment type (Child Care Works subsidy or private pay), how you heard about us, and any notes you choose to add.
Enrolled family information. For families who complete our Family Contact Form: your child’s date of birth, your relationship to the child, emergency contact name, phone, and relationship, and the people you authorize for pickup.
Consent records. If you opt in to text messages, we record that you consented and when.
Automatically collected information. Standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and referring site.

3. How we use your information

To respond to your enrollment inquiry and answer your questions
To schedule tours and complete enrollment
To help you apply for or transfer Child Care Works (CCIS) subsidy
To communicate with you about your child’s care, scheduling, closures, and emergencies
To meet our obligations as a licensed childcare provider in Pennsylvania
To understand which of our marketing efforts reach families, in aggregate

We do not sell your personal information. We have never sold personal information, and we do not intend to.

4. Text messaging (SMS) program

Text messaging is entirely optional. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of enrollment, of touring our centers, or of purchasing any service from us. You can inquire, enroll, and be a family here without ever opting in.

If you do opt in, here is exactly what that means:

What we send: replies to your enrollment inquiry, tour scheduling and reminders, enrollment paperwork follow-ups, daily care updates, schedule changes, closures, and urgent announcements about your child.
How you opt in: by checking the optional consent box on our enrollment or family contact form, or by texting us first.
Message frequency: varies depending on where you are in enrollment and your child’s care. You will not receive messages you did not ask for.
Cost: message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan. We do not charge you for messages.
How to stop: reply STOP to any message at any time and we will stop texting you. You will receive one confirmation that you have been unsubscribed.
How to get help: reply HELP to any message, or contact us at management@atouchofblessing.com or (215) 236-5439.
Carriers: mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors who provide support services to us, such as our customer messaging platform, is permitted solely so that we can deliver the messages you asked for. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party for their own purposes.

Opting out of text messages does not remove you from our records or stop us from calling or emailing you about your child’s care.

5. Children’s information

Our website is directed to parents and guardians, not to children. We do not knowingly collect information online directly from children under 13. Information about your child that appears on this website comes from you, the parent or guardian, not from your child.

Records we keep about enrolled children — including health, emergency, and authorized-pickup information — are maintained as part of our licensed childcare operations and are handled in accordance with Pennsylvania childcare regulations. We share your child’s information only with our own staff who care for your child, with the people you authorize, with state agencies where we are required to, and with emergency responders when your child’s safety requires it.

We do not use your child’s information for advertising, and we never publish a child’s photograph or name publicly without a signed release from the parent or guardian.

6. How we share information

We share personal information only in these situations:

Service providers who work for us. We use a customer relationship platform to manage inquiries and communications, and an email delivery service to notify our staff of new inquiries. They may process your information only to provide services to us, and may not use it for their own purposes.
Legal and regulatory. When required by law, subpoena, or by the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services and the Office of Child Development and Early Learning in connection with our childcare license.
Subsidy administration. With your local Early Learning Resource Center, at your direction, to establish or transfer Child Care Works subsidy.
Safety. With emergency responders or medical personnel when needed to protect a child.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers for their own marketing.

7. Advertising and analytics

We use the Meta Pixel on this website. It helps us understand, in aggregate, which advertisements bring families to our site and which pages families find useful, and it allows us to show our ads to people who have visited us. The Pixel records events such as a page view, viewing a location page, tapping our phone number, and submitting an enrollment inquiry.

We do not send your child’s name, your child’s age, health information, or your text messaging consent to any advertising platform.

You can limit this kind of tracking through your browser settings, your device’s advertising controls, or your ad preferences on the relevant platform. Blocking it will not affect your ability to use our site or enroll.

8. How long we keep information

Inquiry information is kept as long as we are in contact with you about enrollment and for a reasonable period afterward. Records for enrolled children are kept for as long as your child attends and afterward for the period Pennsylvania childcare regulations require. Text messaging consent records are kept for as long as you are opted in and for a period afterward to demonstrate that consent was given. You may ask us to delete information we are not required to keep.

9. Your choices and rights

Access and correction. Ask us what we hold about you and have us fix anything inaccurate.
Deletion. Ask us to delete information we are not legally required to retain.
Text messages. Reply STOP at any time.
Email. Ask us to stop sending non-essential email.

To exercise any of these, email management@atouchofblessing.com. We will not treat you differently for exercising them.

10. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encrypted connections to this website and access controls limiting who on our team can view family records. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your information, we will notify you as required by law.

11. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, tell you directly. Continued use of our website after a change means you accept the updated policy.
