Our centers and schedule
Where are your centers?
We have two centers in North Philadelphia: 921 N 18th St., Philadelphia, PA 19130 and 2318 Cecil B. Moore Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19121. Both are close to Temple University.
What are your hours?
We're open Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. If your work schedule runs longer, ask us about extended hours. They're available on request.
What ages do you care for?
We care for children from 6 weeks to 12 years old. Our programs are Infants (6 weeks to 12 months), Toddlers (1 to 3 years), Preschool and Pre-K (3 to 5 years), and School-Age before and after school care (5 to 12 years). Call us to check which age groups have openings at the center closest to you.
Do you offer before and after school care?
Yes. Our School-Age program covers children 5 to 12 years old, with homework help, enrichment activities and safe supervision before and after the school day.
Do you offer pick-up and drop-off?
Yes, pick-up and drop-off is available. Call us at (215) 236-5439 to talk through how it would work with your child's school and your schedule.
Child Care Works (CCIS) and private pay
Do you accept Child Care Works (CCIS)?
Yes. We accept Child Care Works, which many families still call CCIS, and we accept private pay too.
What is Child Care Works?
Child Care Works is Pennsylvania's subsidized child care program. It helps eligible working families, and families in school, pay for child care. It used to be called CCIS. In Philadelphia it runs through the Early Learning Resource Center for Region 18 (ELRC Region 18). Our step-by-step CCIS guide explains it in more detail.
How do I apply for Child Care Works in Philadelphia?
Apply online through COMPASS, Pennsylvania's benefits website at compass.state.pa.us, or call ELRC Region 18 at 1-888-461-KIDS. When you're asked for a provider, choose A Touch of Blessings and tell them which center. We complete the provider paperwork on our end.
Who qualifies for Child Care Works?
The state sets the rules, and they can change, so check with ELRC Region 18 or the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services (PA DHS) for the current ones. As of our last review, families generally qualify if household income is at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level, each parent or caregiver works at least 20 hours a week (or works 10 hours and goes to school 10 hours), the child is under 13, and the family lives in Philadelphia County.
I already have CCIS at another daycare. Can I switch to you?
Yes. If you're switching daycares, we handle the paperwork for you, including CCIS transfers and subsidy forms. Call us or fill out the enrollment form and tell us you're transferring.
Child Care Works rules last reviewed against our records on November 7, 2026. Always confirm current rules with ELRC Region 18 or PA DHS.
Enrolling, tours and the family app
How do I enroll my child?
Fill out the short enrollment form or call us at (215) 236-5439. The form asks for your contact details, your child's name and age, the center you prefer, your preferred start date, and whether you'll use Child Care Works or private pay. Our team then reaches out to walk you through the next steps.
Can I tour a center before I enroll?
Yes, and we encourage it. Call (215) 236-5439 to set up a visit, or fill out the enrollment form and mention in the notes that you'd like a tour first. You can also watch video tours of both centers on our homepage. Our guide to questions to ask on a daycare tour can help you get the most out of the visit.
Do you have an app for parents?
Yes. Enrolled families get our family app, where you can see classroom photos, check attendance and message your child's teachers. We set up your login once your family is enrolled. See how the app works.
How do I reach you?
Call (215) 236-5439 or email management@atouchofblessing.com. We answer questions about enrollment, Child Care Works and tours for both centers.
